Do-Doha is an initiative started by myself that aims to feed 10,000 people in Qatar who work in the labor and industrial sectors who make a relatively small amount of money. Using the money I make from selling merchandise and streams from my musical escapades I am able to fund the project with the help of the fans.
While homeless, I had many experiences where people from all sorts of backgrounds would come together once or twice a week and provide clothing and hot meals to the less fortunate. This kindness went a long way and was something I thought very highly of. While living in Qatar it dawned on me that I should try to help people the same way I was helped. Taking inspiration from other charitable organizations and celebrities who have done similar things, I launched “Do-Doha.” The name is simple and states that everyone can “do” something good for others.
